As a kid I'd frequent a nearby park and just sit inside of an orange slide. I'd sit there just long enough to allow my eyes to adapt to that color then slide out. Once out, everything was smurf-tastic. The world suddenly had a blue tint to it. Although the tint never lasted very long, I do recall that the clearer the day was, the more noticeable the effect was. This phenomena was one of the reasons my first 3 school science projects were based on optical illusions.
That is pretty awesome. I never knew that sitting in a orange slide long enough would make you see everything blue. I would think it would look orange, but now that I am learning about lights I know that anything is possible. It makes me wonder what would happen if you were inside a different color slide. I kind of want to try it, but I would look funny ha.
