So I’m new to all this lighting, and stage stuff. I guess one of the things I wonder about
is the make-up. I’ve done shoots before
but never really thought about the lighting for the make-up artist with respect
to the visual picked up by the camera.
What I mean is, must the make-up artist ensure their lighting is the
same as the lighting expected in the shot or on the stage? If they didn’t then wouldn’t the result
appear different when on camera? Perhaps
an odd thought, but in the military we always work on the side of train as you
fight, so I was curious if the same holds true for backstage preparation.
